Трансформатор выполнен в виде опорной разъемной конструкции. Роль первичной обмотки выполняет трехфазный кабель на напряжение до 10 кВ, пропущенный в окно трансформатора. Вторичная обмотка намотана на тороидальный магнитопровод, разрезанный пополам. Обе части, залитые изоляционным компаундом на основе эпоксидной смолы, соединяются болтами. Опорой трансформатора служит основание изоляционного корпуса со специальными втулками для крепления
